Applying to FSU-Teach

Initially, students may take SMT 1043 and SMT 1053, our prerequisites without any formal application tothe program.  Thereafter, students can begin admission procedures when they enroll in SMT 3100 and complete the General Knowledge portion of the Florida Teacher Certification Exam (FTCE) and apply to the School of Teacher Education.  This formal admission will add the second major (Secondary Science or Mathematics Teaching) and enable FSU-Teach advisors and faculty to review candidates' progress through the program and offer guidance in terms of needed courses.
